Notes from

Hello Friends,

We are sailing through winter and I, for one, am enjoy- ing the extra hours of daylight that we are beginning to see. Did I say sailing? Yes, that

Notes From Connie

Connie

reminds me of the recent trip we took with 17 AmeriClub travelers on a Mexican Riviera Cruise. Our pre-departure overnight stay was on the Queen Mary, once the grandest ocean liner in the world, now docked in Long Beach, CA. Next, we boarded the Ruby Princess and set off for an eight day cruise stopping in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán, and Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Our group experienced whale watch- ing, snorkeling, horseback riding, and city tours to name a few. [My] favorite part was the time that we all got to spend together, having fun, and making memories that will last forever. I will be attending a conference in early March to learn more about the travel industry, and discover new and exciting opportunities that members of clubs similar to ours are enjoying. I will be looking for popular destinations, as well as interactive and innovative experiences. I’m hoping that a few more Circa ‘21 Dinner Playhouse fans will be interested in joining us for an April 4 performance of Church Basement Ladies in Rise Up, O Men. It will be the perfect time of the year to take a motor coach ride with friends. We will have a great meal and enjoy the comedy act. Remember laughter is the BEST medicine. The Heart of California trip is right around the corner. We have 28 travelers signed up and we can check on availability if

you are interested in joining us. The itinerary is amazing! Find more details on page 14 and 15. I will conclude my message by asking you a couple of questions. Where do you want to go next? What do you enjoy doing most? My goal is to find out. I will be working on a feedback survey and focus groups to get your opinion. This is “YOUR” club and we can’t do it without you. Thank you for your loyal support.

Make today great!

Missing Word

Our Missing Word Contest winner for January/February was Dione Miller, who received a check for $25. The missing word was “Heart,” and the song title was “I Left My Heart in San Fransisco.” We have hidden another song title with a missing word in this issue. Read your AmeriClub newsletter carefully, looking for any words enclosed in [brackets] like this. Rearrange the words to form the title or extended title of a popular song. One word will be missing. Figure out the missing word, and write the missing word only on the Missing Word Contest form found below. All correct entries received prior to the deadline indicated on the form are entered into the $25 drawing. All entries received throughout the year are entered into a year-end drawing for a grand prize of $100! Good luck!
