Hello 1 st Priority Club Members! Happy 2023 to all! Looking forward to an exciting year! Deposit rates are finally on an increase, we have more options for new accounts, and new friends to meet at our events with MidWest One . We have more options with more locations and benefits for ease of your banking needs. We are excited to continue our club and activities. We are working on details of how the club will work with other clubs throughout our MidWest One family. One benefit you will see later in this newletter is our ability to offer extended travel. Connie Francis, Club Director out of our Dubuque office, is a travel expert and sets up several extended travel trips a year. We are thrilled to offer her trips to our members! Have a fun idea for the group? Let me know! We are always looking for fun, different events or day trips to offer to our members.

“The Chicken and The Egg” with Doris Montag - Wednesday, April 12th 2:00pm - 4:00pm • Main Bank’s Walnut Room Members: $5.00 • Non-Members: $10.00 RSVP by April 7 th Doris Montag is a collector, a storyteller and a free-lance curator whose passion is unlocking and sharing the stories in collections from her family or private individuals. She develops and installs exhibits in small museums, libraries, and public spaces. This work has evolved to One Woman Shows narrating the exhibits and entertaining listeners with her homespun humor. Additionally, Doris researches and distills the history of antiques and other random things. These comprise her column, “The History of Ordinary Things”, which is published monthly in Mature Focus, which is available locally, and two additional senior magazines. Join Doris for her signature talk and display, “The Chicken and the Egg”. It is said she makes history FUN.

“The Chicken and the Egg” - Raising Chickens in the 1900’s Doris has curated artifacts for a display and presentation, “The Chicken and the Egg”. She has created One Women Shows with her on-site “pop-up” displays. Join Doris to reminisce on chickens and eggs and the stories associated with them. Learn about chicken sex (got your attention), green eggs, egg scales and egg cartons, chicken catchers and more.
