About Vanguard

Vanguard Target Re�rement Funds offer a simpler way to invest for re�rement. Each fund is designed for a specific �me frame. The alloca�on of each fund automa�cally adjusts as the selected target date nears. This results, most notably, in an increased bond alloca�on and decreased stock alloca�on over �me. The funds' methodology relies on Vanguard's investment strategies and research. Each fund invests in a combina�on of underlying Vanguard index funds chosen from among five op�ons. These diversified funds offer exposure to small, mid, and largecap domes�c and interna�onal stocks, as well as domes�c and interna�onal bonds.

Launched in 1975, The Vanguard Group, Malvern, Pennsylvania, is among the world’s largest equity and fixed income managers. As chief investment officer and managing director, Mor�mer J. Buckley oversees Vanguard’s Equity Index, Quan�ta�ve Equity, and Fixed Income Groups. Joseph Brennan, CFA, Principal and global head of Vanguard's Equity Index Group, is responsible for all equity index funds. The Equity Index Group manages indexed equity por�olios covering U.S. and interna�onal markets. It has developed sophis�cated por�olio construc�on methodologies and efficient trading strategies that seek to deliver returns that are highly correlated with target por�olio benchmarks.

The bank's headquarters is in Dubuque, Iowa, with loca�ons in and around the Dubuque area, Southwest Wisconsin, and Des Moines, and an affiliate organiza�on in San Mateo, CA, called United American Bank.
