Minimum balance to open the account - You must deposit $25.00 to open this account. Additional information: A $2.00 Non MWO ATM usage fee will be assessed for each ATM withdrawal at any non-proprietary ATM (not owned by MidWestOne Bank). Paper statement fee (non-image or image) $3.00 per statement, no fee if enrolled in electronic statements. To allow for enrollment, the paper statement fee is waived for the first statement cycle (non-converted accounts).

POWER CHECKING ACCOUNT

Rate Information - The interest rate and annual percentage yield for your account depend upon the applicable rate tier. The interest rate and annual percentage yield for these tiers may change. Frequency of rate changes - We may change the interest rate on your account daily. Determination of rate - At our discretion, we may change the interest rate on your account. The interest rate for your account is a variable rate and tiers apply if Power Checking reward qualifications requirements are met. See Qualification Requirements section for details. Power Checking Rate Information: Power Rate applies if Power Checking Rewards qualification requirements are met. Tier 1 - $0 - $25,000.00 If your daily balance is $25,000.00 or less, the interest rate paid on the entire balance Tier 2 - Greater than $25,000.00 An interest rate will be paid only for the portion of your daily balance that is greater than $25,000.00. Compounding and crediting frequency - Interest will be compounded monthly. Interest will be credited each monthly statement cycle. If you have Power Savings, your interest will not compound in the Power Checking and will transfer to the Power Savings account the business day following the date it is credited to your Power Checking account. Effect of closing an account - If you close your account before interest is credited, you will receive the accrued interest. Minimum balance to open the account - You must deposit $100.00 to open this account. Minimum balance to obtain the annual percentage yield disclosed - You must maintain a minimum balance of $.01 in the account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield. Daily balance computation method - We use the daily balance method to calculate the interest on your account. This method applies a daily periodic rate to the principal in the account each day. Accrual of interest on noncash deposits - Interest begins to accrue no later than the business day we receive credit for the deposit of noncash items (for example, checks). Qualification Requirements: In order to qualify for the Power Rates, you must meet the following qualification requirements for each qualification cycle: 1) Make at least fifteen (15) debit card purchases that post and clear (excludes ATM transactions). 2) Make at least one (1) direct deposit, automatic debit from third party, or bill pay transaction that post and clear. 3) Enroll and receive electronic statements. a) For each statement cycle the electronic statement requirement is not met, a paper statement will be mailed and a Paper Stmt (Statement) fee non-image or image of $3.00 will be assessed per account, per statement. To allow for electronic statement enrollment, the paper statement fee is waived for the first statement cycle (non-converted accounts). If electronic statements are not received for three (3) consecutive months, your account may be switched to a Free Checking account. b) You must also access online banking at least once every 180 days to have your online banking account and electronic statements active. If your online banking access becomes inactive, you will no longer have access to your electronic statements and you will be switched to paper statement delivery and assessed a Paper Stmt (Statement) fee non image or image of $3.00 per account, per statement until your online banking access has been restored and electronic statements have been reestablished. The annual percentage yield for this tier will range depending on the balance in the account. Base Interest Rate applies if Power Checking Rewards qualification requirements are not met . Qualification cycle: The "qualification cycle" is the same as the current statement cycle. The statement cycle ends on the fourth Wednesday of each month. ATM Refunds: Customers who meet the Power Checking Rewards qualification requirements will also receive up to $15.00 in domestic ATM fees refunded for that qualification cycle (this includes both surcharges charged by the ATM owner for using their machine as well as Non MidWestOne ATM Usage fee for using a non-proprietary ATM (not owned by MidWestOne Bank). Customers who do not meet the Power Checking qualification requirements will be assessed a $2.00 Non MidWestOne ATM usage fee for each withdrawal at a non-proprietary ATM (not owned by MidWestOne Bank). ATM surcharges greater than $4.99 are not automatically refunded and require the presentation of a receipt. If the Power Checking Rewards qualification requirements are not met, then ATM fees will not be refunded for that qualification cycle. If you have a linked Power Savings and meet the Power Checking qualification requirements your ATM refunds will post directly to the Power Savings account.
