Join us as we make our way to Edgewood, IA.

Our first stop will be for yummy cinnamon rolls and a warm cup of coffee from a very popular local bakery called Pie-Eyed & Flakey.

Titanic , the 1997 Broadway Musical, captured five Tony Awards including Best Musi- cal. Soaring songs, grand staging, and a set awash in glorious costumes make this historic musical a must-see event; a great showmade even better in the intimacy of the Fireside’s theatre-in-the-round. The show focuses on the lives of all the varied strata of people uniquely united on that fateful journey, with the central character being the Titanic herself. This human drama explores and reveals individual strength, love, faith, and especially the triumph of human dignity.

Tour Kendrick Forest Products, Iowa’s largest sawmill and the first of their family businesses, established in 1983. We will also learn about Forever Cabinets by Kendrick, Kendrick Home and Shimlee, and The Markket. This is Kendrick’s 6,700-square-foot showroom where they showcase their line of Forever Cabinets, as well as home décor, lighting, rugs, furnishings, kitchenware, clothing, and so much more.

Edgewood Locker retail store is a fun stop to see their wide array of products, many of which are now available in our local convenience and grocery stores.

Are you hungry yet? The Bread Basket in Manchester, IA, is our next stop. We will be served a lovely lunch with their legendary “White Chocolate Banana Cream Pie” as a dessert option. This alone is worth the trip.

After lunch enjoy a stop to see and perhaps purchase some of the beautiful Amish hanging flower baskets that are in the area.

All will be served with a soup, freshly baked bread, a yummy dessert and coffee, tea, and milk.

Your Connections Club price is just $89 per person and includes motorcoach transportation from Dubuque, Farley, and Dyersville, driver’s gratuity, breakfast, lunch, and all attractions listed. Full payment is due at reservation. Note: The guided tour of Kendrick is a walking tour and includes some stairs and uneven ground. Part of the tour will be on a catwalk system which means the walkway is elevated above ground and you can see through the floor. Some handicapped arrangements can be made by calling ahead. The tour will include safety glasses and noise cancelling headphones so you can hear your guide’s voice during the tour. Please wear close-toed shoes.
