Take Me Out To the Ballgame Tuesday, August 29, 2023 Dyersville, IA

Board our deluxe motor coach to start our day with a city Tour and hear about the history of baseball in Dubuque.

• Quick stop at Freddy’s Popcorn for a snack on the way out of town. “If You Build It Exhibit” in Dyersville, IA with a stop at the Ghost Player Mural for photographs. • Field of Dreams Movie Site At the field we will be greeted by one of the ghost players and hear their fascinating stories about their role as a ghost player in the movie and beyond. We will be treated to a tour of the family home as well. What would a day at the Ball Park be without a fun baseball themed meal to get us fueled up to play ball. You are invited to swing a bat or throw a ball on this famous field if you wish.

Before we leave town, we will check out the Red Farber Museum, an exhibit on the life of Hall of Famer, Urban “Red” Faber, a native to Cascade who played with the Chicago White Sox.
