A Dubuque Adventure Four Mounds Wednesday, September 2, 2020, 11:30 a.m. 4900 Peru Rd Dubuque, IA

Join us at Four Mounds for a few hours of fun. Just driving up the narrow one lane wooded road gives me a sense of peace. We will start our day in the Grey House with great food and a little history about this fascinating estate. The Grey House, a mansion built in the early 1900s is the focus of the site. The home was owned by George Burden and his wife Elizabeth. The site is now owned by the City of Dubuque and Four Mounds Foundation is entirely responsible for its management and fundraising. After lunch you can tour as much or as little of the 60 acres of bluff-land along the Mississippi river. We have some interesting demonstrations planned for you. You will not want to miss this one. Beatles vs. Stones— A Musical Showdown Friday, September 25, 2020, 7:30 p.m. Five Flags Theater, 405 Main St, Dubuque, IA

The two greatest rock ‘n’ roll bands of all time face off in Beatles vs. Stones—A Musical Showdown. Taking the side of the Fab Four is Abbey Road, one of the country’s top Beatles tribute bands. With brilliant musicianship and authentic costumes and gear, Abbey Road plays beloved songs spanning the Beatles’ career. They engage in a musical “showdown” of the hits against premier Stones tribute band Satisfaction—The Interna- tional Rolling Stones Show, who offer a faithful rendition of the music and style of Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and the bad boys of the British Invasion.
