Based on the 1993 movie starring Jack Lem- mon and Walter Mattheau, Grumpy Old Men is the story of two aging neighbors, who’ve been feuding for more than fifty years. When beautiful and charming Ariel moves in across the street, the rivalry is raised to new heights! T his musical tells the story of a young Vietnamese woman, Kim, who is orphaned by war and forced to work in a bar run by a notorious character known as the Engineer. There she falls in love with an American G.I. named Chris, but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For three years, Kim goes on an epic journey [of] survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he’s fathered a son. A cast of 42 performs Broadway hits like “The Heat is On in Saigon,” and “The Movie in My Mind.” Cost is $147 per person and includes round-trip motor-coach transportation from Dubuque and Platteville, theater circle seating, and driver’s gratuity.
