We finally did it! We are going to see Hamilton . We have seats reserved at the Overture Center for Arts in beautiful Madison, WI. This stunning architectural landmark is conveniently located within walking distance to galleries, museums, great restaurants, and shopping. We will head to Madison in the early afternoon. When we arrive, you will have free time to explore the area and grab dinner on your own. Make your way to the theater for the amazingly popular Broadway production of Hamilton . Doors open at 6:15 p.m., perfor- mance begins at 7:30 pm. Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, Hamilton has taken the story of American found- ing father Alexander Hamilton and created a revolutionary moment in theatre—a musical that has had a profound impact on culture, politics and education. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail, choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler and musical supervision and orchestrations by Alex Lacamoire, Hamilton is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography. It has won Tony®, Grammy® and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors. Your Connections Club price is just $229 per person and includes transportation fromDubuque, Dyersville and Farley, driver’s gratuity and show ticket. Our seats are located in the “Circle” rows B, C, and D. Full payment is due March 30, 2022. Overture’s health and safety policy is as follows: Overture Center requires masks at all public performances and events due to the large number of guests in enclosed spaces andasmandatedbymost traveling tour groups. Inaddition, Overture requires proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 PCR test (taken within 72 hours) along with photo ID from all who enter the building.
