A dapted from the Disney film set in New York at the turn of the century, Newsies is the tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic news- boy who dreams of a better life far from the hardship of the streets. When publishing titans Joseph Pulitzer and William Randolph Hearst raise distribution prices at the news- boys’ expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike for what’s right. Trip cost is $115 per person and includes transportation from Dubuque, plated lunch, show, and driver’s gratuity. Full payment, refundable until January 18, is due with registration.
