Y ou’re not going to want to miss this fabulous day adventure. Do you enjoy learning? How about eating amazing food? Let’s do both! Please join us as we gallivant by motor coach to Cedar Rapids, IA to visit The Hotel Kirkwood and then on to Cedar Ridge Winery and Distillery in Swisher, IA. We will start at the culinary lab in the Hotel Kirkwood Amphitheater for a kitchen demonstration by two superior chefs from the “Class Act Restaurant” of the Kirkwood culinary school. The demonstration will include one of our selected menu items and our dessert. We will enjoy this amazing meal served to us right there at our observation table. After eating we will get a short tour of the lab where the culinary students are actu- ally trained. Then we are ready to jump back on the motor coach and head to Cedar Ridge Winery and Distillery for a tour and tasting event. Can’t wait to enjoy this experience with all of you and add to our memory making. Cost is $79 which includes motor coach transportation and driver’s gratuity, cooking demonstration, meal, tours and tasting event. Departure from Dubuque will be at 8:30 a.m. with passenger pickups in Farley and Dyersville. Arrive at Hotel Kirkwood at 10:30 a.m. with presentation beginning at 10:45 a.m. Depart to Cedar Ridge at 1:30 a.m. Depart for home after our tour and tasting. A n eight-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals, along with innumerable school and community pro- ductions, place Grease among the world’s most popular musicals. Head “greaser” Danny Zuko and new “good girl” Sandy Dumbrowski try to relive the high romance of their “Summer [Night]s” as the rest of the gang sing and dance their way through. Trip cost is $115 per person and includes transportation from Dubuque, plated lunch, show, and driver’s gratuity. Full payment, refundable until August 22, 2018, is due with registration.
